The first meet-ups start in March 2027 — be the first to hear when the calendar opens.

Cycling

Cycling, together.

We start with short, flat routes. Nobody is left behind; the group waits for the slowest rider.

How to start

For your first ride, a working bike and a helmet are enough. Start with a flat 20–30 km route; it is about pedalling comfortably, not speed.

Before you join the group, check your brakes and tyre pressure.

What the pace groups mean

Groups are described by average speed, for example 22–25 km an hour. The easiest group chats along and waits at the top of the hills.

In the group, keep a bike’s length behind the rider in front and follow the hand signals.

What you need

  • A helmet — required
  • Front and rear lights
  • A bottle
  • A spare inner tube and a pump

Clip-in shoes and pedals can come later.

Common mistakes

  • Pushing a heavy gear. Spinning a light gear protects your knees.
  • Forgetting to eat. On rides over an hour, bring a snack.
  • Braking suddenly. In a group, signal before you slow down.
