Training
A starting point for every level.
How the running, riding and swimming meet-ups work, and how to find your own pace.
Meet-ups
What each sport looks like
You do not have to do all three. Pick one; you will try the others if you get curious.
Run
Tuesday evenings on the seafront, Saturday mornings in the forest. Start at five kilometres and go as far as you like.
Ride
Sunday mornings we head out of the city. The group never rides faster than its slowest rider.
Swim
The pool through winter, open water in summer. There is a separate lane for anyone still learning the stroke.
Pace groups
Whatever your pace, there is a group
Every meet-up has at least two groups: one that chats the whole way and one that likes to push a little. You choose which one, and you can switch whenever you like.
If you can talk, you are at the right pace. If you are out of breath, drop back a group — nobody asks, nobody looks.
